Design Concept & Architectural Approach
At the center of the space, a classically detailed crib is framed by tall storage units on both sides, creating a strong and symmetrical composition. Dark wood is softened by woven cane details, while burgundy-and-cream gingham curtains and wall lights introduce a nostalgic and highly distinctive visual identity.
A fabric pendant light, paneled walls, and a quiet reading corner add further warmth to the room. Layered, low-level lighting transforms the space in the evening, giving it a calm, intimate, and cocooning quality.
The result is a timeless children’s interior that avoids overt thematic references and instead builds its identity through material, proportion, color, and light.
Details, proportions, textures.
