Çekmeköy
Çekmeköy is a warm and joyful children’s space that brings soft pastel tones together with graphic patterns and playful detailing. Blush pink, sage green, and cream are combined with striped surfaces, scalloped edges, and child-scaled functions to create an interior that feels both decorative and highly functional.
The Çekmeköy project is shaped around the idea of bringing everyday care and play together within one strong and cohesive visual language.

Design Concept & Architectural Approach
Striped wall and ceiling surfaces give the room a clear sense of rhythm, while the combination of green and pink creates a warm and energetic atmosphere. Repeated scalloped details across the furniture soften the graphic composition and introduce a more whimsical, child-centered character.
A changing unit, open shelves, and generous drawer storage respond to everyday practical needs, while the adjacent child-sized kitchen makes imaginative play an integral part of the room. Its domed canopy and miniature window give the piece the feeling of a small stage rather than simply a functional unit.
Soft seating, textiles, and warm lighting balance the more playful elements and support quieter moments within the space. The result is a distinctive children’s interior where care, storage, and play are brought together through a joyful and memorable design language.
