In İstanbul
In İstanbul is a calm and contemporary children’s interior that combines soft neutral tones with natural wood and strong geometric forms. Arched cabinetry, an illuminated study niche, and organic details bring storage, study, and everyday functionality together within one refined composition.
At the heart of In İstanbul is the idea of integrating everyday functions into a strong and seamless architectural composition.

Design Concept & Architectural Approach
A full-height built-in storage wall creates a rhythmic backdrop through repeated arched frames and circular timber handles. At its center, a dedicated study niche becomes both a functional and visual focal point, defined by warm wood surfaces and integrated lighting that softly outlines the arch.
The free-flowing graphic pattern on the adjacent wall introduces a more playful layer against the structured geometry of the cabinetry, while the organically shaped mirror extends this language into three dimensions. Above, a sculptural cluster of spherical lights adds softness and an element of surprise.
The result is a contemporary children’s space where storage and study are resolved within a cohesive decorative language, giving a restrained palette depth and character through form, light, and detail.
