Bosphorus Polo Room
Bosphorus Polo Room brings the atmosphere of a classic English club into a children’s interior through a more playful and dynamic interpretation. Deep navy cabinetry, tartan wall covering, brass accents, and warm mustard tones are layered with equestrian references and active play elements, creating a refined yet highly distinctive room.
The starting point for Bosphorus Polo Room was to translate the character of polo and equestrian culture into a children’s interior through material, color, and detail rather than overt theming.

Design Concept & Architectural Approach
Deep navy built-in cabinetry and green-and-blue tartan walls establish a strong architectural backdrop. Brass hardware, wall lights, and the central chandelier add warmth to the darker palette, while mustard-colored curtains introduce a richer and more expressive contrast.
An equestrian artwork above the bed, framed horse portraits, and carefully selected accessories establish the room’s narrative, while integrated climbing holds, a work surface, and child-scaled play objects bring movement and interaction into the composition.
Layered lighting, dark timber shelving, and brass detailing complete the space, resulting in a distinctive children’s room where classic sophistication is balanced with play, movement, and imagination.
Details, proportions, textures.
