Design Concept & Architectural Approach
The crib becomes one of the defining pieces of the room through its rounded vertical rails and sculptural spherical feet. Bird and animal illustrations introduce a narrative layer to the otherwise calm palette, while deep burgundy surfaces and repeated globe-like details on the wall lights give the room a stronger visual identity.
Natural timber and woven cane are combined across the storage elements, adding warmth and tactile depth. Scalloped borders recur on cabinetry, shelving, and window treatments, creating a continuous visual rhythm throughout the room. A striped armchair and ottoman add a softer, more relaxed textile layer to the composition.
The result is a warm and timeless nursery where classic elements are reinterpreted through natural materials, bold accents, and playful detailing.
